Only 1 review for Kam Wah? No way. This is the best takeout chinese in Lake Worth......... and I've tried 5-6 of them all over the city. I am a NY chinese food snob and this place is baadass!!! The food here is as good as the expensive sitdown places like Dixon Lee. Their wonton and eggdrop soups are awesome, their chicken chow mein about as good as I've had anywhere and my Dad says the eggrolls and spareribs are dynamite (I am not a big egg roll or spare rib fan). In addition, you can get the lunch special for less than $5 which includes entree, soup, rice and eggroll... and you will be stuffed... all the way to your visit to the can when you are done. The only time I was dissappointed here was when they left out my eggrolls on a large takeout order... but the food is always good and fresh. If you're in West Lake Worth, youve gotta check out this little hole in the wall. Its as authentic cantonese as it gets......... yumm.

Since my first review (5 Stars) I have been back to Kam Wah a few times. My favorite food for those takes out has been Chow Fun w/ shrimp & chicken and an order of Egg Drop Soup. I had ordered those two because consistently they were very flavorful. Today, unfortunately, that was not the case and was the first time I had been back in a few months. Both the Chow Fun and Soup were very bland. When I got home and first looked at the Chow Fun I knew it would be tasteless. It showed no evidence of what ever sauce had been used in the past having a very light color. The soup did not have a distinctive yellow color, was very thick with starch and also tasteless. Very disappointed and hope this is not indicative of what their quality has become.

Just ordered tonight's dinner I must say that this food was good! The meals were inexpensive and the portions large. My order was delivered hot and fast. I would have given 5 stars, but my fried noodles were mushy, not crunchy as they should be. I believe they were stale or left out to lose their fresh crunch. Everything else tasted great!

Always delicious and FAST! Always delivered HOT! Best Chinese food! Reasonably priced. Family Pack Special easily feeds a family of four with leftovers. Brown rice is available too! Yum!

Hard for me to find good Chinese food, since the best chinese I've ever tasted is in Alaska. But this place must be good if I keep going back. They also have a website where you can place your order. I like that. pdexpress.com/order/kamw…

YUM, The person who took the order was adorable and she got everything we needed and wanted. We are vegetarians and she understood exactly what we needed. Our order was almost perfect. They forgot the sodas but she called right back that he forgot them and she would add them to the next order. The food was really good, everything we asked to substitute for tofu they did. The delivery driver came with a huge smile and quickly. It's a great place for Chinese takeout. We were happy.

Great little take out place. Closest to NY Chinese that we've found. We only pickup but the food is always on time.

I found this place by searching for the Chinese takeout restaurant with the best reviews and it was Kam-Wah. The high reviews are completely deserved as the food is excellent and the staff is so friendly.

This is what Chinese take out should be. Huge selection, delivered hot and fresh and the food quality is consistently high. With the size of the menu one might worry that the quality might be lacking but not in the case of Kam Wah. I have had more than half of the times on their huge menu over the years and every one was a good as the last. I also think that since Kam Wah is a take out only they, in this reviewers humble opinion mind you do a fantastic job of preparing and delivering their food over the traditional dine in establishments that also do take out. With those places the quality of their take out is always a step or two below compared to the sit in version of the same meal. I you are in the Lake Worth area and are in the mood for some 5 Star quality take out give Kam Wah a call. Your taste buds will be glad you did!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
